RICHMOND TIMES DISPATCH:
Bob Salsitz, an early client who came to beLIeVE Fitness looking for increased flexibility to enhance his golf game, said that Lisa has a “deep empathy for humans and reacts to their needs. So much so she saved my life!" Salsitz said it was Lisa who noticed his skin color changing and his workouts becoming more taxing. She urged him to see a cardiologist immediately, which led to open-heart surgery.
Linda Newsom-McCurdy came to beLIeVE Fitness last year after a fall left her with torn ligaments in one of her knees. “During my first visit … I was barely walking in a straight line, and couldn’t climb stairs or balance on one foot,” Newsom-McCurdy said. Because she also suffered from arthritis, she thought she was headed toward a knee replacement. Now, she’s not so sure. She’s walking regularly doing squats, leg lifts and climbing stairs without worrying about falling.
“Lisa has given me tools that I can carry with me every day and use in my daily life,” Newsom-McCurdy said. “These tools make me stronger and help me believe in myself again".
